Radio Blob’s trip day 3

A looong day today, 69 miles took me almost 8 hours due to an unrelenting headwind! But now I’m safe, sound and dry in a lovely motel (in Clifton Park, NY) with a heated indoor pool! Plus its right next to a restaurant from a chain with notoriously large portions. Yipee!

The boredom was thankfully broken around lunchtime today with the arrival (by blessed car!) of Marian and Hank Hofman who normally live in Ottawa. They were in Burlington to hear Mary Chapin Carpenter last night at the Flynn and decided to “swing by” to see if I was actually cycling, or just riding around in my Geo Metro. Thanks for the visit kids!
