Gouverneur building DONE!

Over the last few days thanks to Pete Wyckoff and Kevin Irwin, the fabulous Gouverneur equipment shelter (AKA “the cute little NCPR outhouse”) is done!

But, why is it such an odd shape?  The so-called “architect”   (me) wanted to make it simple, yet effective.  I wanted to keep it small to save on materials and work during construction.  And I wanted to use a standard height door.  Anyway, this made the ceiling a little over 7′ high, and since the width of the building is only 6′  it looks a little top heavy.   In fact,  it is!

We had cold windy days, torrential downpour days (custom made especially for roofing!) and more cold windy days… but it could be worse.

All it lacks is a crescent moon window.

    RB,
Just think how easy it will be to build the next one!

    Always a pleasure,

    Pete

I think it looks very nice. Lets see some pictures of the equipment inside and the antenna on top. Thanks and keep up the good work.
