And now there are three

We spent an hour Thursday trying to find a newborn’s mama–including a walk around the ice-covered barnyard checking each ewe for signs of recent birthing. No luck. It’s a mystery. So, Ice-T (as we’ve named her) has joined Togo (featured in earlier lamb-related posts as the miracle Christmas Eve survivor) and Wendy, rejected by their respective mamas. There are about 20 lambs right now and, luckily, all but these three are happily in the barn in a gang of romping pipe-cleaners.

These three are all being bottled fed in a little pen we built in Bill’s pottery shop adjacent to the house.
