Finding the Fireworks

Nothing says summer like the Oooh! and Ahh! of a great fireworks display. Here’s where and when you can see the “rockets red glare” throughout the area. If we’ve missed your town’s holiday blast-off, please add it in in a comment below.

Fireworks List By Day and Town:

Tuesday, July 3

Essex – There will be fireworks at 9:15
Glens Falls – Fireworks will start at 9:45 p.m.
Hague – There will be fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m.
Massena – The Independence Day celebration will close at 10:15 with the annual display by Majestic Fireworks.
Morristown – A fireworks display will be held at dusk.
Tupper Lake – Annual July 4th Fireworks will be held from 9 to 10 p.m. at the Muncipal Park.

Wednesday, July 4

Bolton Landing – Fireworks will start at dusk in Rogers Memorial Park
Glens Falls — At Crandall Park, following the Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra !2th Annual Summer Pops Concert
Inlet – There will be fireworks on the lakefront at Arrowhead Park at dusk.
Jay – There will be fireworks at the end of the day’s celebrations.
Lake George – At Shepard Park, fireworks will start at 9:30.
Lake Placid – Lake Placid will have a “Set the Night to Music” Fireworks Spectacular with fireworks at 9:45 p.m. over Mirror Lake
Long Lake – There will be fireworks at dusk.
Norwood – The 77th Annual Norwood Fire Department Field Days will end with one of the biggest fireworks displays in St. Lawrence County at dusk.
Old Forge – There will be fireworks at the Old Forge Lakefront at dusk, rain or shine.
Plattsburgh – Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m.
Raquette Lake – There will be fireworks at dusk.
Salem – Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.
Saranac Lake – There will be fireworks at dusk over the Lake Flower boat launch area
Saratoga Springs – There will be fireworks at dusk.
Schroon Lake – Fireworks will begin at dusk.
St. Regis Falls – Fireworks will begin at dusk.
Ticonderoga – The Best Fourth in the North will conclude with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Friday July 6

Hogansburg — Mohawk International Raceway (on the Frogtown Road, just past the Mohawk Bingo Palace) is having huge fireworks show at 10 pm

Saturday, July 7

Chestertown – Summerfest and fireworks will be held at the Chestertown Municipal Building at 9:30 p.m.
Corinth – There will be fireworks at 9:20 p.m.
Gouverneur – The Gouverneur Volunteer Fire Department will host a fireworks display at the fairgrounds.
Hannawa Falls – Robert Plumb Memorial Fireworks will be held at dusk.
Indian Lake – There will be fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Lake George Village – Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m.
Speculator – There will be fireworks held at the Speculator Ball Field/Pavillion from 7 to 10 p.m.
