North Country Public Radio is looking for new members for its citizens advisory board, the Executive Council. The Executive Council meets four times a year: in October and February via conference call, in May at rotating locations around the NCPR listening area, and in July for the station’s annual meeting in Canton. All meetings are open to the public.

The Council is required by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to seek input from community members about the work of the station and to communicate that input to station and St. Lawrence University management.

We are interested in maintaining a diverse Council, representing communities across the Adirondack North Country. We are seeking people from a variety of work backgrounds, economic levels, age, gender and ethnic groups. New members for the Council are elected onto the Council by sitting members.

If you are interested in being considered for a seat on the Council, please complete the printable application form here, and either return via email to [email protected] or by post to: North Country Public Radio, attn: Executive Council, St. Lawrence University, Canton, NY 13617. Deadline for consideration is June 15, 2016.
