I visited our Gore Mountain (WXLG, 89.9) transmitter site today, where I found that the SCALA log-periodic antenna which receives the signal WXLG re-broadcasts from WXLH on Blue Mountain, had been nearly destroyed by ice falling from the nearby 140′ communications tower. Anyway, I re-bent the remaining elements as seen here. AND the bugs were really biting today!


Do we need a new antenna, perhaps? Looks like we lost a couple of elements…pass the bug spray…
