If you called, donated on line, sent us a check, or walked into the station with a $20 bill and words of encouragement, thank you. We made it to $310,000 on Saturday at 8 pm, and hit goal, over $320,000, by Tuesday morning. Public radio is a collaboration between staff, listeners, other organizations and businesses across our community. It’s a collaboration of optimism.
We ain’t no one man band. On the other hand, Homer Henderson is. Radio Bob and I love this guy, we think Homer might be a star, might shine like NCPR did last week, if he had you in his corner. By way of thanks for your support, here’s a peek at Homer:
To all who came out to play in the NCPR band last week…YOU ROCK!
All In is a place for everyone who works at NCPR to share behind the scenes activity, and surprising, curious, lovely or distinctly local tidbits from our travels around the region. We’ll post the best of what we find online, too. From time to time, you may hear from others—if you’d like to write an entry, send it to [email protected]. What makes this place what it is? How do we connect to each other and the world? That’s what ALL IN is all about.
