It was a rip-roaring ceilidh, a Saturday night house party, just like they might do at home in Harrisville, but this time the Fraser Family’s friendly little musical get-together took place from the stage of the sold-out Edwards Opera House, and it felt like a grand affirmation of community. The event was a celebration of the group’s first CD, recorded by NCPR’s Joel Hurd and produced by TAUNY, Traditional Arts in Upstate New York.
