Radio Bob down in the hole
We’re thrilled to announce that we’re now on the air in Elizabethtown in Essex County! Our engineer Radio Bob (Sauter) and his assistant Austin Milone had a challenging but successful day installing the equipment at the Town of Elizabethtown Water Department site, just off Route 9N.
Able assistant Austin lugs the receiving antenna.
The wooden structure covers the town’s old water cistern, which is now empty. Special thanks to Town Supervisor Noel Merrihew for all his assistance.
NCPR’s rustic new digs in Elizabethtown.
Getting the NCPR signal to Elizabethtown has been a longtime goal. We thank everyone who’s been waiting so patiently.
Now that we’re on the air, at 91.3 on FM, how does it sound? You can send your reception report to <[email protected]>
Radio Bob gives the test signal a thunbs-up.
