I’m a real cheerleader for Glens Falls. Watching this city come to life in the past few years has been a joy. Sandy Demarest and I took a road trip there yesterday–to check in with old friends like Rick Davidson, and to introduce ourselves to some new friends.<\/p>\n

We stopped in at the new store, Nine, around the corner from Davidson's, on Glen Street. Three generations: Kerry Davidson, her mom Brenda Griffin and her grandmother Sylvia McCall. (Happy birthday to Brenda and Sylvia, both celebrating a shared birthday yesterday.)<\/p><\/div>\n

I like the mix of refurbished old and nicely designed new structures in Glens Falls.<\/p>\n
