Photo: George DeChant<\/p><\/div>\n<p>We still have glorious photos of flowers and vegetables planted in pieces of ground scattered across the region, from western Vermont to the Tug Hill, from the southern Adirondacks to Ottawa. Kinda cool. I&#8217;d imagine a lot of food is being harvested as we move into September. You don&#8217;t have apply new techniques or ideas to the entire garden, but try growing small patches of beans in different ways, or stake some tomatoes in heavy-duty cages and trellis some others.
