Adirondack Community Trust Executive Director Cali Brooks told me about keeping windows closed on summer evenings so she could leave reading lights on&#8230;opening them only after lights out. These are screened windows! And, at a party in Blue Mountain Lake last week, someone showed me the inside of their forearm where no see ums had been at work. Bloody mess!<\/p>\n<p>You win.
