What is it about the station that you think might “sell” NCPR to a producer?

Why am I asking? We are putting ourselves up on a “runway,” along with a number of other stations from across the country, trying to attract one of 10 seasoned media producers who will be awarded a year’s salary to work at a station on a project of interest to both the producer and the station. This is being offered by the group AIR, Association of Independents in Radio, as a way of pairing up great producers with great stations. NCPR has been invited to participate on the runway.

Joel Hurd, our production manager, is producing at 3-5 minute profile of the station and the region. Any suggestions?

Check out The Waiting Room, produced by Peter Nicks (who was awarded a recent AIR fellowship for this work).
