So, at the risk of sounding like the Mother&#8217;s Day grinch, I&#8217;m linking this post to an article in today&#8217;s Salon.com which pretty closely articulates how I feel about this occasion. Now it&#8217;s true I always tell listeners to remember their moms (or dads on Father&#8217;s Day) but, hey, that&#8217;s my job. Having said all this, I have to confess that I&#8217;d love to hear from my son in Japan, though that&#8217;s true every Sunday, not just this one.\u00a0 (Mom, I am thinking of you today&#8230;as I do almost every day since you died.
