Amid the blizzard of disinformation, scientifically targeted &#8220;advertorials,&#8221; outright propaganda, deliberate falsifications and distortions in our newsfeeds and social media, how do you separate fact from chaff?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/files.constantcontact.com\/2e55425f301\/3e95de4e-ca34-419c-8170-6684567eaa83.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"250\" \/>Well, you need people who will fight for the facts, who will dig in, investigate, double-check, do the legwork, and who work together in an organization like NCPR that practices core values of integrity, consistency and even-handedness.<\/p>\n<p>While cranking out clickbait may be cheap, finding the facts takes resources, and this is the time of year when we ask you to <em>help us<\/em> fight for the facts. If the facts no longer speak for themselves, someone needs to speak up for them. <strong>How about you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NCPR&#8217;s fall fundraiser launches Monday and gifts from individuals are our bread and butter.
