(or quit)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Day 1, 64.1 miles.  So, yes, I&#8217;m biking to Cape Cod again this year&#8230; but I really don&#8217;t know why.  I especially don&#8217;t know why after yesterday&#8217;s hot, hllly trip with a constant headwind!  But I&#8217;m game for a second day of it before I make my final decision to keep on truckin&#8217; or throw in the dirty towel.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been conducting a psychological experiment on how the mind chooses to remember the &#8220;good&#8221; things (great meals, interesting places etc.) and &#8220;forgets&#8221; the other things (the mind-numbing hills, the fatigue, the Gator Ade!)  The experiment is officially over&#8230;. it is TRUE my mind forgot everything PERFECTLY!<\/p>\n<p>OK enough griping&#8230; I&#8217;m having a wonderful time, wish you were here (in lovely Lowville, that is)<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a photo of some roadside humor&#8230; a small &#8220;cairn&#8221; under the &#8220;Pitcairn&#8221; sign.
