Movies for your ears.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Every two weeks, Jonathan Mitchell and his team deliver carefully produced, sound-rich audio dramas. I\u2019ve listened to a handful of episodes (about 10, so far), and I think\u00a0<em>The Truth<\/em> is actually kind of hit-or-miss. Sometimes &#8211; when it misses &#8211; the plot line feels cheesy or forced.<\/p>\n<p>But when it hits, <em>The Truth<\/em>\u00a0knocks you off your feet.<\/p>\n<p>Listening to some of these stories (in a decent pair of headphones) has an intense, visceral effect. <strong><\/strong>They are alarmingly real.\u00a0You feel like you&#8217;re eavesdropping, and it\u2019s almost uncomfortable, &#8211; but in a good, thrilling way.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetruthpodcast.com\/Story\/Entries\/2013\/5\/9_Youre_Not_Alone.html\">This one<\/a>\u00a0about Jared, an emotionally disturbed veteran, sent chills down my spine. We experience the world from Jared&#8217;s point of view, so when horrible voices torment him, they torment us, too.<\/p>\n<p>I also recommend <a href=\"http:\/\/thetruthpodcast.com\/Story\/Entries\/2012\/2\/12_Moon_Graffiti.html\">Moon Graffiti<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/thetruthpodcast.com\/Story\/Entries\/2013\/4\/10_Entry_1.html\">Falling<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/thetruthpodcast.com\/Story\/Entries\/2012\/6\/20_Human_Intelligence.html\">Human Intelligence<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Read more about\u00a0<em>The Truth\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailydot.com\/entertainment\/truth-podcast-jonathan-mitchell-interview\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think?
