As I mentioned (did I?) we’re also constructing a 6′ X 8′ building in which to house our transmitter and ancillary equipment at the new site in Gouverneur.\u00a0 Since I didn’t know what sorts of weather we’d be facing when the time came to actually erect the building, I decided to pre-fab most of the construction in my garage.<\/p>\n

So today we arrived at the site with 4 walls, one floor, roof rafters, tools, a generator and TWO black Ford Ranger pickups!<\/p>\n

Thanks to TMT Construction (of Gouverneur) there were concrete piers at the site:<\/p>\n

So we just laid out our 6″ x 6″ stringers:<\/p>\n

Nailed on the pre-fab floor joist system:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then the floor:<\/p>\n

Then the wall sections:<\/p>\n
