Over the last few days thanks to Pete Wyckoff and Kevin Irwin, the fabulous Gouverneur equipment shelter (AKA “the cute little NCPR outhouse”) is done!<\/p>\n

But, why is it such an odd shape?\u00a0 The so-called “architect”\u00a0\u00a0 (me) wanted to make it simple, yet effective.\u00a0 I wanted to keep it small to save on materials and work during construction.\u00a0 And I wanted to use a standard height door.\u00a0 Anyway, this made the ceiling a little over 7′ high, and since the width of the building is only 6′\u00a0 it looks a little top heavy.\u00a0\u00a0 In fact,\u00a0 it is!<\/p>\n

We had cold windy days, torrential downpour days (custom made especially for roofing!) and more cold windy days… but it could be worse.<\/p>\n
