Ellen’s birthday was this weekend.\u00a0 She was out of town so we decided to wreck<\/del> “decorate” her office.<\/p>\n

It all started with a few balloons…then things got out of hand.\u00a0 Maybe it was the helium, I can’t say for sure, but by the time it was over there were pictures of pugs dressed as movie characters, notes, signs, beads, confetti, and yes\u2026a hot pink tiara for the birthday girl.\u00a0 Why the tiara? Why NOT?! Wasn’t it Emerson who said “Nothing great was ever achieved without a tiara” — or something like that?\u00a0 My point is this, tiaras are fun.\u00a0 Here are a few photos from the day.<\/p>\n

Early this morning, adding the finishing touches.<\/p>\n

We couldn’t really cram much more in there so Radio Bob got creative.\u00a0 Here he is making 60’s style door “fringe” out of old reel-to-reel tape.\u00a0 Jon is helping measure the individual strands.<\/p>\n

All done\u2014and just in the nick of time! Bob hangs the “fringe” on the door just as Tasha lets us know that Ellen has just pulled into the parking lot.<\/p>\n

The look (and hand on the hip) says it all…I can’t trust you people to be on your own for 5 dang minutes.<\/p>\n

So we distracted her with CAKE! UMMMM CAKE!!!<\/p>\n
