There&#8217;s a feeling of rain &#8212; or maybe snow? &#8212; in the air!<\/p>\n<p>A post-election update:<\/p>\n<p>The St. Lawrence County board of Elections tells YNN that the <a href=\"http:\/\/ithaca-cortland.ynn.com\/content\/news\/703912\/election-glitch-should-not-affect-race-outcome\/\">district 9 county legislature ballot mishap<\/a> probably won&#8217;t effect election results. Clinton County still has over 1100 absentee ballots to count, which could effect the <a href=\"http:\/\/pressrepublican.com\/0100_news\/x1442602150\/Clinton-County-has-more-than-1-100-absentee-ballots-to-count\">outcome of some races<\/a>. \u00a0Absentee ballots will also determine who becomes<a href=\"http:\/\/adirondackdailyenterprise.com\/page\/content.detail\/id\/539850\/Jay-town-tax-collector-race-won-t-be-decided-for-a-week.html?nav=5239\"> tax collector<\/a> in the town of Jay, and <a href=\"http:\/\/northcountrynow.com\/news\/waddingtons-incumbent-supervisor-and-councilor-apparent-election-losers-abesntee-ballots-could-\">supervisor and councilor in Waddington<\/a>.\u00a0 And write-in votes are delaying the final results for the <a href=\"http:\/\/northcountrynow.com\/news\/no-resolution-lisbon-town-council-seat-until-friday-0100162\">Lisbon Town Council<\/a> seats.<\/p>\n<p>Other news:<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Supreme Cort is debating <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2013\/11\/07\/nyregion\/supreme-court-justices-consider-new-york-towns-prayer-practice.html?src=me\">whether it&#8217;s constitutional<\/a> for Greece, New York to open its Town Board meetings with predominantly Christian prayers. The New York Times has this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2013\/11\/07\/nyregion\/supreme-court-justices-consider-new-york-towns-prayer-practice.html?src=me\">play-by-play<\/a>.
