{"id":1315,"date":"2009-11-17T10:54:00","date_gmt":"2009-11-17T14:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2009\/11\/17\/breaking-plane-crash-near-newcomb-wreckage-found\/"},"modified":"2009-11-17T10:54:00","modified_gmt":"2009-11-17T14:54:00","slug":"breaking-plane-crash-near-newcomb-wreckage-found","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2009\/11\/17\/breaking-plane-crash-near-newcomb-wreckage-found\/","title":{"rendered":"Breaking: Plane crash near Newcomb; wreckage found"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Glens Falls Post Star f<a href=\"http:\/\/poststar.com\/news\/local\/article_2b126282-d37f-11de-9a4a-001cc4c002e0.html\">irst reported this morning<\/a> that a small plan had gone down in the Santanoni Range in the town of Newcomb in the Adirondacks.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pressrepublican.com\/breakingnews\/local_story_321090539.html\">Plattsburgh Press-Republican<\/a> is now reporting that the pilot is Dan Wills, a flight instructor from Malone.<\/p>\n<p>The status of Wills and his unidentified passenger is not known.  According to the P-R a search and rescue operation is underway.<\/p>\n<p>The plane apparently departed Saratoga on Sunday.
