Engineers plan to use roughly 500 shaped charges &#8212; 800 pounds of total explosives.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on your point of view, the blast will be backdropped by the snowy Greens or the Adirondack Mountains. <\/p>\n<p>One thing I&#8217;m curious to see is how the water surge from the falling debris affects the lake ice.
