Over the last year, the In Box has emerged as the most heavily-used part of NCPR&#8217;s vast and richly-endowed website.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve muddled through special elections, bridge malfunctions, ideological debates, and hand-wringing over the economy.<\/p>\n<p>As a MSM journalist, this form of communication often leaves me ambivalent, troubled, uncertain. <\/p>\n<p>Much of the discussion is fascinating and nuanced, surprising and expansive.  Bits and pieces are idiotic or offensive. <\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the biggest discovery for me is how intimate it feels. <\/p>\n<p>Even as more people have piled in to argue and think out loud, it has felt more and more like the kind of really great conversation I have sometimes at Stewarts. <\/p>\n<p>So, I guess I&#8217;ll just say thanks and encourage you to stick around.
