Susie Wood emailed me the photo this morning, and I thought I&#8217;d share it. It was taken by Bill Jackson.<\/p>\n<p>As Gerry says, &#8220;We don&#8217;t get white pelicans that often, but once in a while they wander in.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Gerry Smith is author of &#8220;Birding the Great Lakes Seaway Trail&#8221;.
