{"id":2893,"date":"2010-10-05T17:44:43","date_gmt":"2010-10-05T21:44:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/?p=2893"},"modified":"2010-10-06T08:09:53","modified_gmt":"2010-10-06T12:09:53","slug":"is-watertown-mayor-grahams-political-blog-a-good-idea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2010\/10\/05\/is-watertown-mayor-grahams-political-blog-a-good-idea\/","title":{"rendered":"Is Watertown Mayor Graham&#8217;s political blog a good idea?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Watertown Mayor Jeff Graham writes one of the more i<a href=\"http:\/\/mayorgraham.blogspot.com\/\">nteresting political blogs<\/a> in the North Country.\u00a0\u00a0 He describes it as &#8220;a commentary on politics and culture in New York&#8217;s North Country region.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This week, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.watertowndailytimes.com\/section\/roughdraft\">Watertown Daily Times<\/a> managing editor Bob Gorman blasted Graham for the practice.\u00a0 The problem, Gorman says, is that Graham leaks too much privy information.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Graham wants his blog to be relevant. To do that  he needs to write something new. To do that he must reveal something  that few others know. To do that he often resorts to passing on info he  is privy to as mayor.<\/p>\n<p>It didn&#8217;t take long for other politicians to  make the connection: Talk to Graham and he will blog about it. The  result?
