Scott Murphy&#8217;s campaign is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kVFclpN-IJc&amp;feature=player_embedded\">circulating a press clipping about a Youtube video<\/a>, apparently recorded earlier this month, which shows Republican Chris Gibson speaking to supporters.<\/p>\n<p>When Gibson asks whether the people in the crowd would trust Murphy with their guns, someone replies, &#8220;I&#8217;d trust him with my bullet!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>There is a smattering of laughter, but Gibson makes no visible response, and simply goes on with his comments, saying, &#8220;These are the facts, these are the facts.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/blogs\/maggiehaberman\/1010\/Id_trust_him_with_my_bullet_.html#comments\">According to Politico<\/a>, Gibson&#8217;s campaign manager says the candidate never heard the statement.<\/p>\n<p>Gibson spokesman Dan Odescalchi:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Chris  never heard the comment from the audience. Chris  was using a  microphone and PA system in the front of the room. Chris  would  obviously never condone  any violence of any kind.
