What are you seeing?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The wind is really whipping here in Saranac Lake.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve had a half-dozen short-term power outages through the early afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"http:\/\/pressrepublican.com\/breaking2\/x511768755\/Power-outages-felt-across-region\"> Plattsburgh Press-Republican<\/a> is reporting that St. Regis Falls closed down its school because of the blackouts.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Indian Lake and Long Lake were hardest hit, with 1,180 homes without  power. Widespread outages that impacted 80 customers were also noted in  both Willsboro and Wilmington, he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Also this from the <a href=\"http:\/\/poststar.com\/news\/local\/article_b7618204-fd77-11df-a181-001cc4c03286.html\">Glens Falls Post Star<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Police reported an outage among National Grid customers in Queensbury in the area of Regency Park Apartments after tree branches downed lines.<\/p>\n<p>I couldn&#8217;t get through to National Grid&#8217;s website for more detailed information. <a href=\"http:\/\/adirondackdailyenterprise.com\/page\/content.detail\/id\/521734\/Sporadic-power-outages-this-morning--Whiteface-closes--update-.html?nav=5008\">The Adirondack Daily Enterprise<\/a> is reporting that Whiteface Mountain closed down due to the high winds.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>National Grid&#8217;s website shows small outages throughout the towns of  Harrietstown, Brighton and Franklin. The largest one, with 392 customers  affected according to National Grid, was up and down county Route 60 in  Rainbow Lake and Onchiota.
