They&#8217;ll be high above the 49th parallel, watching for people crossing the border illegally.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2008\/12\/08\/us\/08drone.html?_r=1&amp;emc=eta1\">The New York Times<\/a>, it&#8217;ll be joined by three others, and it&#8217;ll fly it&#8217;s first missions in a month or so. The drones won&#8217;t be armed &#8212; though they can carry missiles, laser-guided bombs and other weapons.<\/p>\n<p>The drones have been patrolling the U.S.-Mexican border since 2005. Apparently, there are simply enough of the drones to go around now, so Customs and Border Protection are expanding.<\/p>\n<p>North Dakota?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first Predator B drone has arrived in North Dakota.
