{"id":3491,"date":"2011-01-06T07:19:15","date_gmt":"2011-01-06T12:19:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/?p=3491"},"modified":"2011-01-06T15:51:43","modified_gmt":"2011-01-06T20:51:43","slug":"morning-read-gas-prices-soar-in-north-country","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2011\/01\/06\/morning-read-gas-prices-soar-in-north-country\/","title":{"rendered":"Morning Read: Gas prices soar in North Country"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bob Bennett at the <a href=\"http:\/\/pressrepublican.com\/0100_news\/x1024522183\/Gas-prices-on-the-rise-since-fall\">Plattsburgh Press-Republican<\/a> notes that prices at the pump have risen by about half a buck a gallon since September.<\/p>\n<p>Pump prices here are also 28 cents higher than the national average.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s all about these companies making money,&#8221; said Donovan McQueen, 23,  of Westport.
