Alcoa East announced it&#8217;s holding a press conference tomorrow morning.<a href=\"http:\/\/watertowndailytimes.com\/section\/breakingnews#2011110109897\"> According to the Watertown Daily Times<\/a>, the aluminum will reopen the plant after a two year layoff:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>David W. LaClair Jr., president of United Steelworkers Local 450, is meeting with Alcoa representatives this afternoon to confirm the news.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. LaClair said he understands that approximately 100 employees laid off when the plant was idled in March 2009 will be returning back to work&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Of course we&#8217;d be very thrilled an excited,&#8221; Mr. LaClair said. &#8220;It&#8217;s  great news for Massena and the surrounding communities.
