It opens Saturday morning!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just saw this from the NCC, the agency that runs Ottawa&#8217;s Rideau Canal Skateway:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A 2.4 km section of the Rideau Canal Skateway will be open at 8 am to the general public, from the Bank Street Bridge to the Pretoria Bridge.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Here is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canadascapital.gc.ca\/bins\/ncc_web_content_page.asp?cid=16297-16299-10080&amp;bhcp=1&amp;lang=1\">official website<\/a> that gives info about when the canal is open or closed and the condition of the ice.
