{"id":3528,"date":"2011-01-10T01:01:57","date_gmt":"2011-01-10T06:01:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/?p=3528"},"modified":"2011-01-10T12:25:54","modified_gmt":"2011-01-10T17:25:54","slug":"one-north-country-school-district-is-booming","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2011\/01\/10\/one-north-country-school-district-is-booming\/","title":{"rendered":"One North Country school district is booming"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, we blogged about the closure of another North Country school, in Saranac Lake.\u00a0 Declining enrollment is a problem across the region, as the population ages.<\/p>\n<p>But the Indian River district is booming, thanks in large measure to growth at Fort Drum.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/watertowndailytimes.com\/article\/20110109\/NEWS03\/301099977\"> This from the Watertown DailyTimes:<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The district&#8217;s population is growing, and officials project that the population will continue to grow into the 2011-12 school year.
