Bill Owens wants a probe of two VA centers, one in Carthage and the other in Syracuse, following the death of a Carthage man in December.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Kathleen M. Countryman wrote to Mr. Owens urging him to find out why  her companion of 13 years, Michael J.
