{"id":3871,"date":"2011-03-07T07:22:28","date_gmt":"2011-03-07T12:22:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/?p=3871"},"modified":"2011-03-07T12:09:43","modified_gmt":"2011-03-07T17:09:43","slug":"a-doozy-of-a-storm-a-doozy-of-a-winter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2011\/03\/07\/a-doozy-of-a-storm-a-doozy-of-a-winter\/","title":{"rendered":"A doozy of a storm, a doozy of a winter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As I write, I&#8217;m looking out at cornices of snow in my driveway.\u00a0 My pick-up truck looks like someone tried to bury it.\u00a0 Wind howls against the storm windows.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adirondackweathersite.com\/\">Adirondack Weather<\/a> site calls this a &#8220;historic&#8221; storm.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I can&#8217;t believe you&#8217;ll find too many storms in the  record books that dumped over two-and-a-half inches of rain followed  immediately by over a foot of snow around here.
