{"id":4022,"date":"2011-04-04T06:40:52","date_gmt":"2011-04-04T10:40:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/?p=4022"},"modified":"2011-04-04T09:54:03","modified_gmt":"2011-04-04T13:54:03","slug":"morning-read-medical-marijuana-dispensaries-right-next-door","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2011\/04\/04\/morning-read-medical-marijuana-dispensaries-right-next-door\/","title":{"rendered":"Morning Read:  Medical marijuana dispensaries right next door?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.burlingtonfreepress.com\/article\/20110404\/NEWS03\/110403014\/0\/LIVING09\/Vermont-considers-medical-marijuana-dispensaries?odyssey=mod|lateststories\">Burlington Free Press<\/a> is reporting that Vermont&#8217;s Senate is poised to legalize dispensaries for medical marijuana.\u00a0 If that happens, a lot of North Country families would have fairly convenient access to the drug for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how Burlington resident Shayne Lynn described the operation he&#8217;d like to open, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.burlingtonfreepress.com\/article\/20110404\/NEWS03\/110403014\/0\/LIVING09\/Vermont-considers-medical-marijuana-dispensaries?odyssey=mod|lateststories\">in an interview with the newspaper<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>There\u2019d be a waiting room. Clients would be seen by appointment only.  There\u2019d be security. He might also offer clients yoga, acupuncture and  Reiki.
