{"id":4125,"date":"2011-04-22T13:51:47","date_gmt":"2011-04-22T17:51:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/?p=4125"},"modified":"2011-06-13T15:45:47","modified_gmt":"2011-06-13T19:45:47","slug":"adirondack-life-explores-resort-question","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2011\/04\/22\/adirondack-life-explores-resort-question\/","title":{"rendered":"Adirondack Life explores resort question"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I linked to this on my blog entry this morning, but wanted to offer an easier route for people to check out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adirondacklife.com\/index.php?option=content&amp;task=view&amp;id=271\">Adirondack Life&#8217;s article<\/a> about the Adirondack Club and Resort project in Tupper Lake and the Front Street development in North Creek.<\/p>\n<p>Their article was written (completely independently &#8212; I had no idea they were working on a piece) by Albany Associated Press reporter Michael Hill.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI think it\u2019s going to be nicer than Lake Placid,\u201d [developer Tom] Lawson said over the hubbub of skiers at the Big Tupper base lodge this winter. \u201cI think it\u2019s going to be the place to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Opposition to the long-brewing mega-project has been as \ufb01erce as the developers\u2019 ambitions are grand.
