{"id":4181,"date":"2011-05-02T08:17:28","date_gmt":"2011-05-02T12:17:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/?p=4181"},"modified":"2011-05-02T08:17:28","modified_gmt":"2011-05-02T12:17:28","slug":"morning-read-killing-bin-laden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2011\/05\/02\/morning-read-killing-bin-laden\/","title":{"rendered":"Morning Read:  Killing bin Laden"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Northern New York has paid a heavy price since 9\/11.\u00a0 Local communities lost family members in the initial terror attack.<\/p>\n<p>The wars that followed in Afghanistan and Iraq have killed dozens more, and disrupted the lives of hundreds of families as National Guardsmen and Fort Drum soldiers shipped out.<\/p>\n<p>Reaction to news of Osama bin Laden&#8217;s death came swiftly.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.watertowndailytimes.com\/article\/20110501\/NEWS09\/110509991\">This from the Watertown Daily Times<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt&#8217;s about time,\u201d said Zachariah P. Zeitler,  30, a night auditor at Holiday Inn Express on Arsenal Street in  Watertown.
