On his list of destinations, should his trip not get cut short by the hurricane, is Saranac Lake. This <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2011\/08\/25\/nyregion\/for-vacation-cuomo-favors-saranac-lake.html?pagewanted=1&amp;nl=nyregion&amp;emc=ura1\">New York Times article <\/a>details Cuomo and his family&#8217;s fondness for the town&#8211;his girlfriend Sandra Lee named it her favorite vacation spot, on par with Capri, Italy. The article is gently tongue-and-cheek about the governor and town alike. But it made me smile.
