Here&#8217;s the sports page edition of the Morning Read.  The<a href=\"http:\/\/www.adirondackdailyenterprise.com\/page\/content.detail\/id\/526951.html\"> Associated Press <\/a>is reporting that state investigators are looking into a possible illegal fight-night in Lake George.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The New York State Athletic Commission, following a complaint that one competitor was kicked and lay unconscious 15 minutes, is asking the attorney general&#8217;s Criminal Prosecutions Bureau to take a look at the videotaped Aug. 20 fights in Lake George.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The promoter says it was all on the up-and-up, with an emergency medical technician on hand.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the <a href=\"http:\/\/pressrepublican.com\/breaking2\/x1459453934\/Ski-resort-sold\">Plattsburgh Press-Republican<\/a> is reporting that Titus Mountain &#8212; the fun ski hill in Malone &#8212; has sold to local entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Brian Monette said the family is already involved in the day-to-day decisions at the Johnson Road resort.<\/p>\n<p>He said the management team and employees will be retained and little will change at the sports facility for now.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Great news for skiers, even better news for Malone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Morning, folks.
