{"id":4972,"date":"2011-10-21T08:18:15","date_gmt":"2011-10-21T12:18:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/?p=4972"},"modified":"2011-10-24T08:58:45","modified_gmt":"2011-10-24T12:58:45","slug":"morning-read-post-star-loses-pulitzer-winner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2011\/10\/21\/morning-read-post-star-loses-pulitzer-winner\/","title":{"rendered":"Morning Read:  Post-Star loses Pulitzer winner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/poststar.com\/blogs\/the_front_page\/mahoney-leaving-post-star\/article_6f97d858-fa81-11e0-8916-001cc4c002e0.html\">Glens Falls Post Star<\/a> has announced that one of their marquis writers, Pulitzer-winner Mark Mahoney, is leaving the paper to take a position with the New York State Bar Association.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Mark has spent the last 23 years at the newspaper, working as a reporter, regional editor, city editor and editorial page editor.<\/p>\n<p>In 2009, he thrilled us all by winning the Pulitzer Prize for editorial writing.
