(Though per capita our budget shortfall isn&#8217;t all that much better.)<\/p>\n<p>And then compare our political snafus with the continuing soap opera of ousted Governor Rod Blagojevich and his tainted protege, Sen. Roland Burris. <\/p>\n<p>If we&#8217;re a soap opera, Illinois is actual opera.  And for Sen.
