Smucker Company is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/news\/index.ssf\/2011\/11\/smucker_recalls_jars_of_chunky.html\">recalling<\/a> some 16-ounce jars of its Smucker&#8217;s Natural Peanut Butter Chunky sold in New York and several other states because of possible salmonella contamination.<\/p>\n<p>The Ohio-based company says the jars covered in the recall would have been purchased in the last week or so. They have &#8220;Best if Used By&#8221; dates of Aug. 3, 2012 and Aug. 4, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Salmonella is bacteria resulting in fever, cramps and diarrhea that lasts for several days and can require hospitalization.<\/p>\n<p>Smucker says no illnesses have been reported.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The J.M.
