Peter King &#8211; the most visible Republican in New York&#8217;s Washington delegation &#8211; is seriously considering a run against Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> \u201cI could very well run against Kirsten Gillibrand,\u201d King says without hesitation. \u201cI have $1.1 [million] or $1.2 million in my House account, but I can\u2019t be raising money for the Senate until I set up a committee, so basically I\u2019m assessing how much money would be available if I run.\u201d <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to Politico, King was hoping to face Caroline Kennedy in 2010. <\/p>\n<p>He also sounds a little lonely, though a Tedisco win in the 20th CD special election would give him some more GOP company in DC.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe\u2019re down 26-3 in House seats, and there\u2019s nobody near me for almost 300 miles. Either I\u2019m the strongest man alive or I\u2019m toxic and ran everyone else away.
