Indian Lake resident Edward Meyer Jr. says Hamilton County’s fire coordinator libeled his business — Meyer Fireworks — by suggesting that the company’s plant\u00a0 could have endangered the Indian Lake Central School if it had exploded back in 2010.<\/p>\n
Meyer wants $11 million dollars in compensation, according to a report in the Hamilton County Express.<\/a><\/p>\n The lawsuit is based on remarks [Hamilton County fire coordinator Jay] Griffin allegedly made to The (Glens Falls) Post-Star newspaper after Meyer\u2019s arrest.
