{"id":559,"date":"2009-03-05T13:07:00","date_gmt":"2009-03-05T17:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2009\/03\/05\/dems-continue-to-zing-tedisco-over-stimulus\/"},"modified":"2009-03-05T13:07:00","modified_gmt":"2009-03-05T17:07:00","slug":"dems-continue-to-zing-tedisco-over-stimulus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2009\/03\/05\/dems-continue-to-zing-tedisco-over-stimulus\/","title":{"rendered":"Dems continue to zing Tedisco over stimulus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jim Tedisco, the Republican Assembly minority leader, has continued to hedge his reaction to President Obama&#8217;s stimulus plan.<\/p>\n<p>Now the Democrats have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Wh6C17SKSVU\">dug up a video of Tedisco bashing<\/a> Carolyn Kennedy for not taking a clear stand on the issue.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t know where she stands on the stimulus package on the Federal level,&#8221; Tedisco says (at 4:20 of the attached video).  &#8220;I don&#8217;t know how she stands on the bailouts that are taking place in the car industry and with Wall Street like now.  I&#8217;d like to know the answers to those questions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The veteran Assemblyman goes on to insist that journalists press Kennedy for a clear and unequivocal response.<\/p>\n<p>For the record, Tedisco has said that he would have voted for the bill, but only if his amendments had been included to reduce wasteful spending. <\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the treatment from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poststar.com\/articles\/2009\/03\/04\/news\/local\/14495636.txt\">the Glens Falls Post-Star<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;There&#8217;s no question there is a need for a stimulus.
