{"id":581,"date":"2009-03-12T07:12:00","date_gmt":"2009-03-12T11:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2009\/03\/12\/what-does-she-stand-for\/"},"modified":"2009-03-12T07:12:00","modified_gmt":"2009-03-12T11:12:00","slug":"what-does-she-stand-for","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2009\/03\/12\/what-does-she-stand-for\/","title":{"rendered":"&quot;What does she stand for?&quot;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Politico is reporting this morning that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/stories\/0309\/19911.html\">questions still &#8220;linger&#8221;<\/a> about the political viability of NY Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.<\/p>\n<p>Her appointment from the Upstate\/North Country 20th district rankled many of New York&#8217;s congressional delegation.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Long Island Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, who has pledged to run if none of her colleagues step forward, complains that Gillibrand \u201chas changed her mind on just about every subject.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat does she stand for?\u201d McCarthy asked.<\/p>\n<p>Manhattan Rep.
