Last week, polls showed he had lost a nearly 20-point lead to Democrat Scott Murphy. The Murphy campaign had hammered Tedisco for not taking a stand on the big federal bailout package. Meeting with reporters today, Tedisco spent 8 minutes clarifying &#8212; notably with a big &#8220;NO!&#8221; &#8212; he wouldn&#8217;t have voted for it.
