{"id":598,"date":"2009-03-19T00:13:00","date_gmt":"2009-03-19T04:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2009\/03\/19\/incumbents-ousted-in-lake-placid-randall-devlin-curtis-sweep-election\/"},"modified":"2009-03-19T00:13:00","modified_gmt":"2009-03-19T04:13:00","slug":"incumbents-ousted-in-lake-placid-randall-devlin-curtis-sweep-election","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2009\/03\/19\/incumbents-ousted-in-lake-placid-randall-devlin-curtis-sweep-election\/","title":{"rendered":"Incumbents ousted in Lake Placid &#8211; Randall, Devlin, Curtis Sweep Election"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:130%\"><span style=\"font-size: 13pt\">The team of Craig Randall, Art Devlin and Zay Curtis swept to victory Wednesday night in the Village of Lake Placid election.<\/span><\/span><\/b>  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:130%\"><span style=\"font-size: 13pt\">Unofficial results, released just before 10 p.m., showed the three Republicans took a decisive victory in both the mayoral and trustee races.<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:130%\"><span style=\"font-size: 13pt\">Craig Randall easily won the seat of mayor over incumbent Jamie Rogers and Trustee Peter Roy.  Randall collected 463 votes.  Rogers received 233 votes and Roy had 192.<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><b><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:130%\"><span style=\"font-size: 13pt\">In the trustee race, Art Devlin took the most votes with 463.  Zay Curtis also won a seat on the board with 442.
