{"id":895,"date":"2009-07-16T13:23:00","date_gmt":"2009-07-16T17:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2009\/07\/16\/apa-loses-another-round-to-farmer-lewis\/"},"modified":"2009-07-16T13:23:00","modified_gmt":"2009-07-16T17:23:00","slug":"apa-loses-another-round-to-farmer-lewis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northcountrypublicradio.org\/inbox\/2009\/07\/16\/apa-loses-another-round-to-farmer-lewis\/","title":{"rendered":"APA loses another round to farmer Lewis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The headline on Essex farmer Sandy Lewis&#8217;s website this afternoon trumpets:  &#8220;We won again, 5-0 in the appeal.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Associated Press is confirming that a NY appeals court has endorsed Lewis&#8217;s claim &#8220;that his housing for laborers is exempt from Adirondack Park Agency Regulation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Agency had sought to fine Lewis for building single-family homes for his workers in the town of Essex in the Champlain Valley.<\/p>\n<p>Lewis &#8212; a former Wall Street executive &#8212; challenged the fine in court.
